"Attended a 21st in the upstairs bar. It was pre booked for a private function, ensuring invited party goers only. Both indoor and outdoor seating with nice view of the street and nearby water. Variety of finger food and extensive bar selection. Staff friendly and helpful"

"I have officially found my after dinner spot to get cosy in Tauraunga. • Wine bar • Cocktail bar • Conversational level music • Cosy • High quality steak offering • Good banter with bar manager Laura the bar manager was super comfortable to talk to, knowledgeable about the offerings and teased us with some “must try” suggestions for next time. (we will be back, and taking you up on these Laura) The wine selection is good, I got to see how good the steak offering is being served to another table, with a nice cut and cooked perfectly medium rare. I’m super keen to work my way through the cocktail menu too with some classics and some intriguing options Nice not to have to shout over the music, and get cosy and warm over a good drink. Will be back… please stay open"

"Out of all the spots along the waterfront this is one of few that i’d recommend. We loved the entire vibe of the bar. the lunch deals were awesome and the young girl who served us was lovely. My recommendations are the manhattan pizza and cheese burger 10/10. Will definitely be going back!"

"Visited here for dinner with 2 colleagues 7pm on a Monday night. There was plenty of space available, we made a last minute reservation but probably wasn’t necessary and we could have just showed up. Good food, I had the beef cheek burger which was delicious! Perfectly cooked meat, good pickles, relish etc. Fries were good too. Was very filling, I didn’t have room for dessert! I was keen for dessert but just couldn’t fit it in! Prices ok, not exactly dirt cheap but not outrageous either… Would quite happily return here! They serve Pepsi rather than Coca Cola in the soft drink options, which was fine as I like both!"

"It was really amazing. Food was all great staffs were kind. Nice vibe and atmosphere. Terrace on the top floor has a beautiful strand view. Pizza from the fire pit was amazing. Personally I love mushroom pizza, potato pasta, and duck pancake. I can say best food on Strand. You won't regret to visit this place."

"Our work Christmas function was recently held here and despite the restaurant being a chef down, the service was awesome and food delish. The waiter staff gave us a heads up regards food possibly being delayed and yet it did not feel like we waited for our food. Food arrived timeously, hot and tasted fantastic. Good job to the team who looked after us. Thank you."
